Problem:
The CEO of this general contracting business reached out to me needing a hand in developing and managing a marketing strategy for their company. They had a stagnant social media presence, low google search ranking, and no systems for nurturing leads and past customers. The real problem was finding someone who could not only pull them out of the rut with the right strategy, but also run the execution so that it didn’t create a new strain on their staff. He needed a remote CMO and marketing manager who was well-versed in high-level thinking, as well as handling the tedious execution that would be required.
Solution:
The first priority was to reconnect with their existing contact list to ensure that no one ever falls through the cracks again. We started by developing a nurture series email automation setup in Mailchimp. Then, I made some simple tweaks to the back-end of their website to ensure that their SEO would incrementally improve over time. Along with that, we optimized their Google business profile and started posting relevant content to appease the algorithms with great success. As a long-time client, I’ve worked with Growing City Corp as a remote CMO for several years with heavy emphasis on strategy, email, content.
Result:
Growing City Corp is now growing their email list, collecting more happy customer testimonials, ranking higher in search engines, and has a social media content plan to guide more people within their target audience into the top of their new marketing funnel.
